Meet-Up! New England Meetup: Portsmouth, NH mid August weekend?

How about Prescott Park in Portsmouth, NH? If it rains there are plenty of places nearby to take shelter. We can set a backup plan, e.g. Portsmouth Brewery. A Saturday or Sunday afternoon would work best for me.

nekokami do you know we could also do a meetup in NYC as well?

The megabus would get us to NYC in about 4-5 hours at a cost of less then $20 and then we could get a late bus back that night or a bus back the next day. Would work out pretty well too I think.

If there is a meetup in NYC, I could come. Round trip from DC to NYC is less than $40.

I don't think I'd be able to make NYC anytime soon. But if the rest of you want to meet there instead, that's fine with me.

Why not? All it would take is a trip to Boston to get the megabus. A trip on the Megabus there, maybe a stay over or not, a trip back on the megabus, and then a trip home. Not too much.

Two reasons: time and money. Graduate classes start the first week in September. Sorry, it's just not in the cards right now.
