Touch Kobo Touch Firmware 2.1.4

Kobo Touch Firmware 2.1.4 has been released.

Kobo Touch:
• Install dictionaries in your preferred languages.
• Enjoy faster page turning and book loading.
• Benefit from better text selection, highlighting and Wi-Fi performance
• Watch a new Quick Tour (available in Help)

As usual, special thanks to the beta testers for their feedback!

WARNING: Going forward we are distributing specific upgrade packages to devices based on various criteria which makes the upgrades incompatible between some devices.

Kobo does not support sideloading of upgrades.

As always upgrades will get rolled out to all users in a staged fashion. We are starting the upgrade slowly and gradually rolling it out to all users over the next week.
Please note that additional synching will not trigger an upgrade, just be patient

Under settings->Language you'll see new options for managing dictionaries.

There are reports that there are a lot more changes (more shelving functionality, ...), are there some more complete release notes?

Updating slowly, one device at atime? Because mine is still a 2.0.0 kobo...

That is correct, there are many more improvements. We'll let you discover those.

Some of us would like to know a little more before we upgrade. With three different devices using the same firmware, plus special offers units, it would be a little helpful to have a complete list.

Has anyone had trouble with the new upgrade to 2.1.4? After the upgrade, when I turn it off, the next time I go to read my book, it starts at the nearest chapter???? It won't stay on the page that I turned it off on...

Anyone else have this problem?

Just checked, closed in the middle of a chapter, and in my case it returned to the correct page when I restarted.
