As for hacks, it's just not done to ask for such when the device has not been out long enough to get into the hands of the hackers. You have to give people time to see just what can be done with the device. Proper ettiquette says to wait at least one month after the release date to then start asking for hacks unless you start to see such before then.

As you know, your comment is already obsolete. I probably have the only jailbroken Paperwhite in existence (but not for long, that is for sure). I even installed a hack on it that used the jailbreak. NiLuJe said "not 0-day, more like -150 day"... It was too easy. The 5.1.x jailbreak "just works" on the PW. And some of the hacks too. Awesome!

Can you, please, post any characteristics of device (like cat /proc/cpuinfo, free -m, uname -a)?
