Sorry, Sparrow, Riverdance resembles Irish clogging like American diplomacy resembles responsible international correspondence.

Oh, the music is good and the dancing quite athletic, but if you ever saw Robbie O'Connell mash up the stage, you'd see that Riverdance is sort of pale by comparison.

How about Richard Thompson's "Roll Over, Vaughn Williams", from the Henry the Human Fly album? "Gentle ladies, gentlemen, listen as the song begins. Carefully we come to say a word for all to hear. If you listen as you should, we won't be misunderstood. Don't expect the words to fall to lightly on the ear. Live in fear. Live in fear, Live in fear...." Oh, wait. This isn't the Escape from the Lounge thread... ______ Dennis |

Robbie O'Connell is good, but he's no Robbie Williams... "Hell is gone and heaven's here There's nothing left for you to fear Shake your ass come over here Now scream I'm a burning effigy of everything I used to be You're my rock of empathy, my dear" (Let Me Entertain You, Robbie Williams) [Hides iTunes card in super-secret spot that Queen Zee will never find] Cheers, mon cher, Marc |
