any thoughts for a 5?

I did search for an hour

and fiddle about shoving some stuff down that route.

Yes, I really should decompile/look for myself.

@twobob: AFAIR, it picks stuff up automatically, no need to fiddle with anything (the exception being ota updates).

I don't know if this helps you...
I use that command to refresh items in home screen when using SSH.

nup. dumping music into an empty music folder via SSH will end up with...

"No music" message, until you USB cycle. - bit annoying.
