Perhaps it's a good time for him to read some of the Gandhi that VR has uploaded. Pandas are meant to be peaceful and vegetarian creatures.

Put it this way: We are going to have to resort to gratuitous violence in order to acutelate you, so just live with it. Or not, as the case may be. Just let us do it as we stand over the next hill so we don't have to watch it. 'Kay?

Since I'm currently stuck rebuilding a laptop, and the mental distraction that entails, I have interjected before my intended next read with Clive James's Brilliant Creatures in pbook form (because I found it at a Salvos for $2, along with a nifty beach backpack for $4).

Just finished Mistborn. I absolutely LOVED it. I had started it before but got stuck after a couple of chapters.. I returned to it yesterday and couldn't put it down. Now I'm so mad the 2nd book isn't available in ebook format. I'm not currently in the U.S. (on vacation for a month) so I can't get the 2nd book.. ARGHHHHH

Started In the Midnight Hour, another Tor offering. Not as impressed so far.. seems very much like Anita Blake and other such stories. I enjoy them, but they don't captivate me as much as things like Mistborn or Cherie Priest's Four and Twenty Blackbirds. But who knows, I haven't gotten very far. The series may surprise me.

I never realized there were so many books in the Scarlet Pimpernel series until I was searching for the ebook. I think I've got all that are available as ebook but haven't started reading them yet.

Written in 1981, it was one of those "40cent" books bought on amazon.com, but after shipping, came to $4.39......but worth it.

I'm on my second copy of this! (My first one was destroyed by cats, so my brother got me a second copy this year for the holidays.) I agree, great collection.
