The kindle arrived this morning. it is now 7pm. I have managed to configure BR, read a lot of docs, and.....

well. that's it. The k5 is IDENTICAL to when it arrived, an entire day utterly written off.
Can safely say that this bunny is not feeling very energizer.

I never did have that real tea. I will aim to back up the kenel, the rootfs et al of device but honestly I have been just looking at the docs again and again for HOURS.

possibly today should be written off as a bad job. I didn't even manage to build the installer yet for the fonts thing for Ihor. Which is trivial.

Not that it seems to matter much.

The "old" Kindle HowTo seems to be stuck inside of Xcache.
I completely re-organized its structure and added a Firmware under the new References section.

None of which can be seen until either Xcache does a garbage collection on time-out or until the member signs-in - - -Then they can see the new organization,

OK, that is just a minor problem (not being able to manually clear the Xcache) - will just live with waiting 5 minutes for the old TOC to get tossed out.
