Water for a late lunch. Going to be a long night of packing and moving for me and my wife tonight and tomorrow night in anticipation of our move to our new house on Saturday.

Yep. Our first house (it's a condo, but ~1,800 sq ft, 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and 2 stories) after many, many years of apartment living. It's spectacular.

Good morning, everyone! Happy Ides of September! Don't worry, safe to go to the Forum as the Senators aren't meeting. I'm drinking Taylor's "Yorkshire" tea this morning, and eating a grilled chicken breast... Cajun spiced. Strange way to start the day, but I've been up for a while. Had to load the car for my wife as she's leaving for a 4-day trip up to the coast of the Sea of Japan. If the weather is nice tomorrow I'll ride up and join her for the day. I haven't been doing enough riding these last couple of weeks. It will be more walking today... and I'm aiming at some uphill stuff. I must be bloody nuts... But a goal is a goal, and I don't set them lightly. And better a goal than a gaol, right?

Good morning, all! WoW! Early! Woke up feeling really good this morning... don't know why but don't care! I just feel GOOD! So I whipped up a cup of Ahmad's "English Breakfast" tea, grabbed a bowl of rice out of the rice pot, a package of crab legs, and had a good breakfast. Even shared the crab legs with Felicity so she's happy too! I think I'll do an hour or two of photo corrections, then go for a nice long walk. Weather is supposed to be good all weekend so tomorrow I'll ride up to the Sea of Japan and spend the day with my wife. There is a Matsuri (festival) going on there tomorrow that needs some pictures, so I'll double my pleasure double my fun! Nay... triple! I haven't taken a long ride in two weeks, and this will be about 3 hours through the mountains each way! YES!!!

DW is making pasta for dinner, the weekend is here, and two fingers of Talisker 10 year in my glass. Life is very good.

Have a great weekend, everyone. Tomorrow is kick back day, and then travel on Sunday and in Redmond all next week, coming back on Saturday. (I hate travelling on weekends, but this was a special case.)
