Error communicating with Device

Using (recently updated) calibre 0.8.68 on WinXP-SP3. My device is a NookColor.
When trying to send a book (either ebup or PDF0 to the memory card, I get he message below:
'NOOK_COLOR' object has no attribute '_carda_prefix'

File "site-packages\calibre\devices\usbms\driver.py", line 256, in upload_books

AttributeError: 'NOOK_COLOR' object has no attribute '_carda_prefix'

calibre seems to otherwise recognize the Memory card, as I can delete books from it, view the library on the card, and even read books from it. I was also able to copy a PDF (not in the calibre library) to the card via windows.

I power-cycled the Nook, closed and reopened calibre, and still no joy.

Any suggestions?

Sony PRS-950 is showing the same error on Windows 7, 64-bit, HE, when trying to upload an epub to the SD card (card B). I tried repairing Calibre, which didn't work, and then uninstalled and reinstalled Calibre 0.8.68 from the website so I would get the newest version. No joy. Same error. Am now going to uninstall Calibre and reinstall 0.8.67 (previous version) to see if that works.

(10 minutes later): Just reinstalled Calibre version 0.8.67 and it works perfectly. I tried 0.8.68 on two computers (a desktop and a laptop, both HPs) and 0.8.68 gave me the error on both computers, while version 0.8.67 works perfectly on both computers.

Did you download a fresh version ? The early downloads had a device bug (I just recently hit it myself and a fresh download install worked).

Yep, downloaded a fresh version, re-installed it (after uninstalling the old version and rebooting), and no luck. But 0.8.67 works for me, so I will stick with that for a while until this is resolved.
