I don't have an issue with being able to store a "mere" thousand books on a Kindle. I'm only using about 30% of the memory on my Kindle Touch.

The Kindle does have Courier (or a "Courier-like" monospaced font) but it has to be specifically requested by a book - it's not available as a default reading font.

None as nice as mine

I will not buy an ereader that doesn't let me install a custom font. The older kindles had the right idea. The trend, though, is removing features and controlling from users
