Seeing that the Kobo has a "mini" just announced, I wonder if Kindle will have a similar thing. All other things being equal, I'd go with Kindle. (Registering the Kindle has never been so easy in my life. Turn it on, log in, done).

The new Kobo with 1024x768 display, 1ghz processor, glo & ePub is upping the anti. I don't think Amazon can beat that.

Agreed! Maybe they'll reintroduce the keyboard just to stay different.. But given their success in the market, I think it will be *very* similar to the Kobo.

Based on the commercial it looks like the eInk version does have a whiter background. It also looks like the "bigger" Kindle Fire is still well short of a 10" model and has a very small border.
