Convert epub to txt for ipod HELP!!!!!!

Hello, I'm new to this site so please excuse me if this question seems silly.

I have an ipod classic and although it has a small screen it is extremely portable - so nearly always to hand, It will only support text files (,txt) through its' 'notes' folder. However, because of this limitation it doesn't handle page breaks ie needs text in one continuous stream.

How is it possible to covert an epub file, using Calibre, to a text file with all page breaks removed.

Any help would be gratefully received.

Just set your conversion output format to text and you're done. You can use Textile or Markdown under the text output options if you want to keep basic formatting like headers, emphasis, etc.
