I take advantage of some freebies, do kindle lending, and occasionally sync, so I probably use wifi anywhere from a couple of times a day to every couple of days. It's still as simple to turn it on (though there are more clicks even now), but it's really annoying turning it off!

Can't stay connected
Any one else having a problem staying connected to their WiFi? I have 2 routers that I never had a problem staying connected to either one before the update. Now after the update the connection will drop every 10 second or so... forcing me to re-enter my password and not remembering it. This even happens when I am standing right in front of my routers or if I am somewhere else in the house. And please don't insult me by saying that my routers are the problem, I have 4 other devices that are connected all the time. The ONLY change was the 4.1 update

You could try a factory reset. If you have already tried a simple restart and that didn't fix it. |

Is there any way to 'un-update' the kindle? Or jailbreak a k4nt?

DO NOT UPDATE. I REPEAT: DO NOT UPDATE YOUR KINDLE.
You will regret it, amazonremoves the ad-free hack (.assets) |
