Amazon Press Event September 6th

Both BGR.com & theverge.com are reporting that Amazon will have a press conference on September 6th. It is believed that the new Kindle Fire will be introduced. I can't wait to see what Amazon will release. I hope they announce new e-ink readers as well as new Fire models.

because despite how much electronics and software is manufactured & produced in the northwest, most of the major media for the industry is on the east coast or in southern california and to be honest this event is for the media not for the public.

I think Tim Cook is going to make a surprise appearance and announce that iOS has been licensed to run on the new Kindle Fires.

It will be very interesting to see what they're doing with the Kindle Fire. It's been speculated that the Google Nexus will outsell the Fire by the end of the year, so it better be something good.

I'd be willing to bet that the next Fire will sell very well. Especially if the price is about the same as the 1st Fire came out at.

Exclusive games only work as a sales point for strictly single player games.
If they are multiplayer games, people now mostly prefer cross platform so all their friends can play regardless of what they are using.

For me, being a non-US user, I would need the Fire to not be tied to American TV and Film providers, have a readible screen across a wider range of lighting conditions and provider a better Android experience.
