OJ. I need to go food shopping but that will have to wait until this evening. The hubby is gone for the weekend. His Grandma is celebrating her 90th birthday so he is going to the party. I didn't want to fly with Lucas so we stayed home. My brother is coming to visit for the weekend. I could handle the weekend solo but I prefer to have someone here with me.

Ah, my favourite weekend of the year! Last night was the start of the Pender Harbour Chamber Music Festival, an annual event here in our tiny little town that brings some of the very best classical musicians in Canada to a simply perfect chamber music venue. The weather this year is perfect and the music amazing.
Starting out the day with Anniversary Breakfast Blend, but then I think I'll splurge and go with the Keemun Xian Zhen. |

My first cup of Pu-erh since I got pregnant. Lucas does not spend more then a few minutes breast feeding so I can enjoy a bit more caffeine.

It is a type of tea. Tea categories:
Green Black Oolong White Pu-erh The different types of tea are set by how processed they are. Black teas are the most processed, white teas the least. The processing influences the flavor and caffeine amount in the tea. |

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pu-erh_tea
Pu-erh is fired to stop fermentation and then Exposed to the sun or some other element to further process the tea. The tea tastes very different then any other tea. |

I have about seven different Pu-Erhs. They are really good. One of the best parts is that they can be resteeped many times and taste good.

![]() Could've tripped out easy a-but I've a-changed my ways It'll take time, I know it but in a while You're gonna be mine, I know it, we'll do it in style 'Cause I made my mind up you're going to be mine ![]() ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NCQ0LmZkSjQ ) Good morning, everyone! Second sunny day in a row after so much rain! Enjoying a big mug of unbranded keemun tea and a bowl of corn flakes with yogurt. Just something different.... We took a long ride yesterday, north through the mountains to the Sea of Japan, then along the coast for a while. It was good to get out of the house. Not as much crop damage as I had expected from the storms so this year's rice harvest should be OK. Very reassuring... You can see the rice fields outside the small fishing villages along the coast. Everything seems to be green and healthy. Stitchawl Last edited by Stitchawl; 08-17-2012 at 08:35 PM. |

Orlok - A Melita measure is the spoon that used to come with a can of Melita coffee. Like the Melita filter, it is cone shaped, which makes it hard to estimate how much it holds. So I got out the kitchen scales to check. It holds 15 ml of water - about one tablespoon, or about 8 grams of fine ground coffee, for those of you who weigh it
