When it comes to regurgitation I don't think that it is such a big problem. There are new members all the time, and it helps if they don't have to read posts on copyright from last year to participate to a discussion.

And I don't see the problem with posters being from different countries. Laws are not absolutes. They are subject to change and I find that it is useful to see different perspectives. But if you don't like this I can see why you are dispirited.

Most threads that cover similar ground tend to do so based on new laws or information that has come to light. It's a way of seeing if anyone has changed or simply reinforced their opinions based on that new information.

If people want different topics, find something interesting to post about and kick something off

Maybe more the love child of bread pudding and a panna cotta.
