Up at 5am to take daughter #1 to summer camp. Rooibos in my cup, I think...at this point of the day it could be just about anything.

I was a camper from age 9-15, (always ranch camps cuz I wanted to be a cowboy) then working at camps at 16, 18, 19 (I had to go to summer school when I failed Math at 17,) and 23... always working the riding programs. I can still remember names, events, even special dinners and socials... Even at age 34 I spent another summer at a camp, teaching archery, rock climbing, and the Ropes Course, but doing it as a a 6-credit Independent Study for university in 'The Use of Recreation Therapy for Personality Development.' Yet another wonderful summer!

She's actually going to Drama Camp, where it's all acting workshops and they make a film over the 5 week period, so not much "out-doorsy" stuff. She did get a speaking part in last year's film, and is hoping for the female lead this year. So not "Summer" Summer Camp, but she loves it all the same.

Starbucks latte with hazlenut syrup in my cup. My treat for 3 hours in the car...

It is still summer camp and will be fun. I never went for more then three weeks. I went to regular camp, horseback riding camp, and two bike camps where we cycled around Cape Cod and then Nova Scotia. Great experiences.

I can feel the spider bite pain. I have three gnat bites. The one on the leg developed a rash bad enough that I went to the Doctor.

Treat spider bites with seriousness, especially if you're not able to identify the exact spider type! My DW ignored one, treating it with calamide, Hydrocortizone cream, etc., because she thought it would go away. When she finally went to the clinic for it, they had to excise part of the tissue around it, and the overall recovery took over a year. And she now has extreme sensitivity to all forms of adhesive tape. Oh, and a big divot in her ankle.

I don't know why I think it will help as it doesn't keep me from falling asleep at night.

The Doctor told me to use Zyrtec and gave me a 10 day course of antibiotics for the gnat bite.

Milk with lunch, water next o me. Lucas is working on a bottle.
