How Often Do You Check Your Sales Reports?
I am not an obsessive person, no OCD here. But I check sales reports several times each day, and I am keeping a record (for later analysis) of each day's total sales.

Have I gone nuts, or is this common?

Twice a day... morning and evening. Well maybe its more like 3...4 Its also when I check for reviews. But I am not obsessive at all.

I check once a month or so, but I think I've only sold 10 copies on Amazon about about twice that on B&N since I loaded up for sale in March, so.

Possibly if I was selling dozens a day, I'd look more often.

Frankly I have to discipline myself, especially with a new offering or any change.

Anyway, with a new offering, one time at end of day for first month.
After that, 2 times a week until 3 months, and that is the most difficult period of time. After that, 1 time a week.

Of course if someone asks or mentions the book, that is different and calls for an instant look.

I probably do ten instalooks a day. Someone is always asking me, even though no one else is in the room.

And I should caveat that I have an existing blog with a following of 50-100 daily comments, so transitioning that into 30 total sales over 5 months is probably on the lower end of "impressive".
