Promo code is: KINDLE40 and applies to the K4 NT with ad and without ad models..looks like accessories are also discounted (up to $100). You must use your Amazon Rewards Card.

$47.40 for the 6" Kindle (non-touch) with special offers.
$65.40 for the version without offers.

For those interested in adding the power adapter, it's only $2 more as they take the discount before applying the $10 promo for buying with the Kindle.

I got the Kindle 4 NT with special offers and the power adapter for $49.39.

Thanks for the info re expiration / while supplies last.

I wouldn't even hesitate if the offer applied to the touch model but I'm not sure about the non-touch.

I think it definitely has to be a Visa. Some are not getting it to work, but I'd hold out the best hope for a "rewards visa" that wasn't Amazon specific.

Probably. Perhaps, it has to be a Chase issued VISA.

When Amazon releases its new Kindles this fall, I think they'll keep the K4 and drop the price to $49. It would be a huge hit over the holidays; drawing in even more customers into Amazon's ecosystem.

This promo has been extended to Fri 24 Aug 2012. It was supposed to expire yesterday.

This is a really good deal. I actually prefer the K4 with Special Offers for reading over my K3 WiFi/3G keyboard or Kindle Fire. So light and small - works well for long reading periods.

Sadly, the code didn't work with my visa either

It has been extended to Aug 24th, as a previous poster noted, so that wasn't it. Must be just certain ones.
