You are misunderstanding my post, it's not about Apple vs Samsung. I don't own stock in any so I don't care who is doing better than the other.
The post was about choice vs none and how the human population as a whole will prefer a choice vs none. Granted there are many who are perfectly fine without choices.

All of your comments are incorrect. Samsung has a wide range of phones, let's not include color or older models since both providers offer that option as well.
That said I can think of at least 6 different products Samsung offer here in the states and I know of a few other that are sold in other posts of the world.

Also you can't blame the market for that , smartphone sales doubled from last year. Unfortunately Samsung is behind most of that growth...I would have rather has an even pie chart where all vendors are doing well.

This is false. They met their own guidance -- fell short in wallstreet analyst guesses. Samsung won't tell its breakdown by device so we won't ever know.
But it's pretty sure that Note and Galaxy S family are what drive sales.

The reason for the softer sales is everyone is waiting for release of iPhone 5. Those numbers won't be seen for two more quarters.

Good luck with that. All you'll get is an elongated 2 years old phone (will be fun to see how the '3.5" is godsend' brigade spins this one). And maybe Apple will sell a "hand stretcher" so your thumb can now reach the opposite corner of the screen, iStretcher?

Well, that was what was hinted at some time ago. But maybe they have changed there mind and it will be compatible. I assume you can never know for sure since they never release information before the release.

Actually there are some pretty cool uses for NFC. I have ordered a batch of NFC stickers myself; I plan on using them to change settings (like enable Bluetooth and GPS when in the car), or enable WiFi and change volume when getting home and so on.
