0.8.62 Updated but still Says Update Found
Hi:

I am using the portable version, I updated to 0.8.62 but when I reopen Calibre it still states there is an update available. Is it possible I downloaded an older version, the exe file has a date of 7/26/12 11.28pm.

It's possible as Calibre gets updated on Fridays.

The filename of the MSI installer has the Version # in its name.

This sounds close. I downloaded calibre-portable-0.8.62.zip to upgrade my portable version. My time stamps are as follows:

calibre-portable.exe 7/26/2012 11.18pm
calibre.exe 7/26/2012 11.16pm

Did you download the calibre-portable-0.8.62.zip file and follow these directions?

Or did you download the calibre-0.8.62.msi file? The .msi file does not update the portable version, it just installs or updates the standard Windows version.

I downloaded the zip files from the portable page, I do not know if I did something wrong or if the wrong file was uploaded but I just re-downloaded and all is well now.
