I looked up your link LuvReading and quite like the spectacle lights, didn't know they made them...then looked up that well known shopping/auction site and they are there also, might look into them a little further....(No pun intended) anyone here tried them?

Neither did I, until prompted by your question to take a look! They do seem rather nifty - the only problem I'm thinkiing of on a plane journey is that it might be a bit like a searchlight when the wearer moves their head!

I have a set of 3 reading glasses (Bolero brand) that I got at Winners (TJMaxx in Canada) for $14.99. They work okay but you do have to angle your reader a little so that it doesn't get the light straight on.
No clue as to whether they look like search lights but the lighting source opening is pretty small and the light beam's radius not very large either so unless the other person is really close I don't think it's an issue. The reason you're using these is because the people next to you are sleeping right?
They have a little switch on each side so you could choose to only turn 1 side on at a time I guess...
