Similar issues have been reported previously, and I'm experiencing this as well. I suspect the issue may be related to the non-standard power levels some usb sockets have/and to how Boox firmware handles this (I'm still on the fail-safe anti-firmware-freeze March software update...). My old PC seems to have slightly nonstandard power levels on all usb sockets, which sometimes prevents some devices from working properly - and it is indeed next to impossible to connect Boox to it. Yet on the laptop Boox does successfully connect, but only to the socket marked as "full power".

So one quick and dirty sollution might be to disconnect all other devices from your pc, and not use external usb hubs.

I updated the firmware. However Problems 1, 2, 5, 6, 7 persists. As for the enhancement - Simultaneous audio file play and one click dictionary look ups are needed features as part of good ereader experience.

New issue:
1. The file names are not showing properly now and if these are being picked up from the fields of document properties, i would say we should at least have the leverage to choose what should be displayed in the list. E.g. one PDF has a proper file name but it is always shown as 'Print Job'(From title of the file).

2. xls viewer Picsel is not fast in response (300K file) and sometimes it does not even recognize the file. I needed to cut back seeking no response from device.

3. The PDF reader is unable to handle file (attached).

Booxter, Isn't there a place where we can post all issues in an issue tracking system? It would be really helpful to manage and report problems.

Does your computer what is fluent?
Mine, a Quad Core 9550, 4GB of RAM, hard disk SSD and Windows 7, it costs to manage it well ....

Hi, I some feature requests similar to the way doukan has it implemented theirs.
1. Being able to toggle to a full screen dictionary within the document being read.
2. The ability to switch between dictionaries with the page turn buttons in full screen dictionary mode.

Just updated to latest firmware and the annotation-function has stopped to work properly. Sometimes the letters of the annotations, when exported, are just mixed together and no separate words can be distinguished (blank space are not recognized), at other times the keyboard to make notes attached to the annotations just doesn't show on the screen (only the field, where the notes should appear). Additionally on the start-up screen the German ä,ö,ü are shown in Russian letters or whatever that is. Does someone still have the older version of the firmware? To my feeling it worked much better. Would like to downgrade.

What'd be interesting for me would be whether there are any chances that Onyx will enable several grayscale scribble levels.
Scribble grayscale levels (currently only black or white) are already stored (it's just 1 float value :P ); there seem to be some (C++-)macros (read: value definitions) defined for different grayscale levels; I could easily modify pdf_tools to merge colored scribbles; and I've got a use case for the functionality... so unless I overlook something, they'd merely have to insert menu items to really enhance M92 functionality to that respect... :P

btw.: I now have got my M92 back. Unfortunately it was sent to my previous employer, but I managed to have them forward it to my current location

The guys from Pocketbook told me at the book fair in Frankfurt last year that IR-Touchscreen are only working properly for devices up to 7".
