As an avid fan of football (American), I have always wanted the term "incomplete" changed to "uncomplete". For some reason, an incomplete pass seems as though it can be made up where uncomplete, ends all doubts to the status of a pass.
Then again, I am usually gramatorically uncorrect! Any thoughts from football fans? |

Bugs Bunny had a classic sequence in one of the two cartoons that Gossamer (see Spartacus' avatar) appeared in in which they unzipped various disguises. one part ended up with them unzipping into each other. From that point on, we're never sure who is who.

One of these days, I'm looking forward to picking up the 50s-60s Warner Brothers animation catalog, not to mention some of their newer material (Animaniacs, for instance). |

I absolutely LOVE the animaniacs! A return to the subversive humor of my childhood!

I tend to use "web search" rather than "Google". I will not promote that evil organization. The verb I use is "search", and if the context requires clarification, I add "online", "web", or "internet" in the appropriate spot.

Honey, you ain't gonna believe this good find, but at Walmart, on the candy aisle next to the checkout counter, they have a couple of shelves of $1 DVD's. They have LOONEY TUNES!!! The really old ones, like when Porky goes to kill the Thanksgiving turkey, and it hides in the snowman, and so on. I bought one of all of them that they had. They didn't have the "special" ones like Wagner's opera or Barber of Seville or Robin Hood, but plenty of the ones I used to watch every morning during breakfast before catching the school bus. |
