![]() As I was reading I was wondering where Aubrey and Sharpe would be. It's still early days, so I guess Aubrey's maybe a lieutenant, and Sharpe's still in India. ![]() |

I had started The Burglar in the Library by Lawrence Block the end of June and am just now getting back to finish it. It is in pbook and I find that I don't enjoy reading as well when it is a pbook. I kept putting off picking it up again even though it's a reread. I love Bernie.

I am reading three different novels presently. But I just finished the Trylle Series by Amanda Hocking and loved the first one but was a little disappointed by the last two. I also just finished reading Choosing to See by Mary Beth Chapman who shares her story about her five-year-old daughter who died after her brother accidentally ran over her. I received a signed copy of the book in the mail after my family suffered a similar tragedy. I found the book to be highly comforting to me in my grief. I am working on the forth book in the Fallen series by Lauren Kate and I have decided that I just cannot stomach it. The first three books were OK but this one is just so far out there I just cannot get into it. Be Blessed Jenny |

I promised not to read Harry Potter on paper. Rowling promised not to take it ebook. She blinked first.
![]() I'm reading the Sorcerer's Stone now and am on hold for the next one. It's not exactly my normal fare, but it's closer than most of what my library e-stocks. |

I read Salem's Lot years ago in my teens. It was the very first horror I ever read. It scared me to death and gave me nightmares. LOL I guess that makes it a good read. J |

I have listened to this one back in May and enjoyed it quite a bit. It is clearly the first book in a trilogy, though, and doesn't resolve a lot at the end. The audiobook is narrated by Katherine Kellgren, which made it even more enjoyable for me - she is among my top five narrators.
I hope to finish Triggers by Robert J. Sawyer today. I am reading the hardcover, and while it has a very nice and easy to read typeface, I still find myself not enjoying it as much as reading on my Kindle. It's a good read, though in my opinion not among Sawyer's best books. But even "lesser" Sawyer is still very enjoyable. I was also reading another dead tree book in paperback, Farthing by Jo Walton. I found myself putting it down again and again, which had nothing to do with the book itself but with the tiny typeface, so I broke down and got the ebook this week after noticing that Kobo has started selling books from Tor DRM free. ![]() |

It seems so. Actually, it is what I call "bookus interruptus". I guess the series is just one big book in three installments.
