I know all sorts of experts argue against it, but not only did I need it for my health and sanity, it was also a very traditional way to do it. with the first, between pumping and big feeds at night I needed very little supplementing until about 6 months. the second started weaning herself at about 3 months and was completely off the breast at 6 months, not for lack of trying.

He stays on the breat for 30 minutes and still is hungry. He lost 12% of his body weight in the first four days which is when we decided to supplement the breast milk with formula. He is taking 90 ml of formula after a 30 minute feed. Hopefully he is getting some of the benefits of breast feeding as well as the formula.

Good morning, all! Happy Bastille Day! Didja ever stop to consider that the Bastille never would have gotten overrun, nor the French Revolution started if it had happened in modern times? The college kids are all on summer vacation and wouldn't want to interrupt that just for a revolution...

But I'm not on summer vacation, so I'll pay my own tribute to the day by starting it with a home-made baggette, a runny wedge of Brie, and some paté. Big mug of Keemun tea from Mariage Freres that my wife bought for me yesterday to keep in the spirit of the Holiday. Good tasting tea but not worth what she had to pay for it. I'll stick with my unbranded Keemun when this is finished.

I rebuilt a 'Platform Rocker' for my wife to use for breast feeding my son. The arms helped her support the baby, and the 'platform' style saved the cat's tail.

Good morning, everyone! Even the Fonz is smiling this morning! Ahmad's "English Breakfast" tea in my cup, Bayern sausages and eggs for breakfast, then it's off into the hills for a ride. The weatherman screwed up and gave us sun after promising rain for today, and we're going to take advantage of it!

heh there are two ways to read that...

1) Yeah, you are right, because at 32F it wont melt and you can enjoy it longer!

2) 32C? To hot for me! (anything over 26 and I run for AC) Must be great to have a cold drink to cool off with!
