As with Giggleton, I'm now thinking I might find that Far Side collection and chop it up and scan it (as a personal backup copy, not for distribution) and make it my K3 screensaver.

Agreed, all those are classics. But I started reading Chad Carpenter's Tundra when the Anchorage Daily News started publishing it in the early 90s and it is easily my favorite.

Tundra is a current favourite, as is Doonesbury. Of the older, no longer current ones, Calvin and Hobbes, Fox Trot, and The Far Side.
