What could be better? A good book and some healthy food.

I think that grease, nitrites/nitrates processed carbs, sugar, salt, preservatives, and saturated fats are food groups that I can safely avoid. I have watched over several decades as American junk food chains move into junk-virgin demographics. Pizza Hut, KFC, McDonalds, etc. Shortly after they arrive, the local population begins to emulate Americans; they start to waddle. Junk food chains are strangers with candy. ("This won't hurt and it will make you feel good.") (In case you haven't guessed or read any of my profiles, I am enthusiastically involved with health and fitness. I don't like junk food chains.) ![]() |

Put down the Pizza Hut and go to a place that makes Italian pizzas. The crust is the best part, and has a light, airy, texture.
Cardboard pizza is what you get in National Chains. Usually to hold up the overabundance of cheap, crappy, meats. |

The only way I would eat Dominos is if it was free. Just about any other pizza is better.

I've eaten Dominos in a pinch, since I love pizza and once in a while it's the only one available.
But the BEST pizza is almost always found at Greek restaurants (not Italian). And they should be topped with a light coating of cheese (not piled on), and lots of fresh veggies. Don't like pizza that is greasy - either from the cheese or the meats. |

Dominos used to deliver in my neighborhood, but the local franchise stopped doing that. Gas prices got too high, I guess. The only one that delivers now is Papa John's. Or I can zip down the road to my local pizzeria.
