But you can combine the $3 AmazonLocal credit with the $1 credit you get for downloading a free app of the day. I did it to get two $1.99 albums for free.

Thank you! I redeemed both this and the Local offer tonight. I accidentally bought a single Duke Ellington tune when looking at a jazz compilation set, and then used whatever was left on a $5 Crosby/Stills/Nash/Young album.

These are all almost new releases! Just think yesterday I would only gotten $3 off $7.99 but because I waited a day I got it for free! I also got Jason Aldean's My Kinda Party for $99 which I had my eye on but couldn't afford. Books are top priority, good music is second. Now I have money for one more with $1 credit but the choices are too many so I don't know which one else to get next.
