Does anyone have any idea when english touch duokan will be released

What did they say when you asked THEM "why don't they release it"?

Here, we can only make some guesses: perhaps it is only "finished" for 5.0.x firmware and they may have technical difficulties running it on 5.1.1 firmware... The eink firmware changed between 5.0.x and 5.1.x, and although I figured out a workaround for it, perhaps they have not done so yet...

But these are only guesses. If you want the REAL reason, you can either ask them yourself, or wait for somebody else to ask them for you and then posting the reason here. Asking them yourself would probably be faster. Then please post the reason here, so that this thread is not left "dangling". Okay?

Of course, if somebody reading this post DOES know the real reason for not releasing Duokan for the K5, please post that here too. Thanks.

No, I checked the chinese version, and the scripts for installation actually is based on the diags data.tar.gz, and in the script I found a part that determines if build is "500" or "510".
