I highly recommend an MP3 player for use when mowing the lawn. I listen to books while working in the yard and the time passes quickly. I end up concentrating on the story and not the repetitious back and forth of mowing and emptying the cuttings bag and other chores.

My Sansa Clip Zip was the best $30 spent (much better than my other more expensive ones), especially with the free audio books posted one here and on podiobooks.

I'll bask in the glow of my win, while contemplating a trip to town and needing to work in the back yard before hosting a weekend BBQ.
