What is my preffered reading device

Hi there everyone, I joined minutes ago... while exploring various aspects of my new iPad2. Which I have to admit has endless features, and then some.

I have had several Kindles, first one was a dud...and my present WiFi will only
Turn Off...when it decides to do so.
I have an iPone3 which is two years old now, and resisted buying the present iPad2, with which I cannot find any faults thus far.
I might add, as I live in Australia, I had resisted buying the iPad...in the main because Apple charges here are 25% up on US prices. AND, when your extended Warranty expires, you might as well resort to sending smoke signals. Or pay $50 a support 'phone call !!!

Apple is launching it's own Stores here, staffed by young underpaid IT enthusiasts....who sell heaps of product, then move on in thier second year...to better paid employment.
In the meantime if you want to read an eBook, Buy yourself and iPad2...or wait until Christmas...WHEN Apple plan a smaller CHEAPER model. Bye Now, end of RANT. signed Fluff all

Sounds like you need to chat with amazon's tech support about the kindle that wont turn off, sounds like you have a hardware failure. Amazon's tech support is the best. I have spoken to them once about my Kindle Fire and they fixed that without a problem. I do have a minor firmwear problem, however that's more of a nusance then a major problem, so no big deal there.

I had to buy an ipad some time ago for my son's education and let me tell you the ipad is good, however its a little ackward for ebook reading I only recommend reading with an ipad if there is nothing else. My recommendations to you are first tinyurl.com/7zsbphk
and click on step one click on kindle, then on oyur type of kindle, step two click on other types of questions then in step three click on chat and some one from tech support will be on-line to talk about your kindle that won't turn off. There policy is that they will only give you a full refund if its within the first year, however if its not depending on how old it is they may give you up to 75% off a new kindle (let's keep this reasonable no kindle one's they are simply too old for that guaranty, however they are elligible for a upgrade discount).
