I can confirm that that's different yet again than what my girlfriend received too. Looks like Kobo tired of non-Touch users getting the free books. Can hardly blame them, it was supposed to be for Touch users, and only if they bought it within a given time frame in late 2011 at that.

Thank you for trying, it says 'this promotion code already redeemed' as others have suggested. Funny thing is on initial search it wouldn't even let me pull up the books, either by title or author, had to find them through chapters.ca site.

I understand Kobobooks is a business, but it's little freebies like this that make me loyal to them and result in them being my chosen site to buy books. If they're going to start being like this, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. jmho

I bought the Touch in December 2011 but don't get the freebie codes from KOBO, apparently because they don't do this book club thingy for UK customers !!!

I tried those July books but neither seem to appear on my Kobo Books database.

I tried the same author different books and I also got the code came up as ".....already redeemed" ?

If it was a standard promotional discount then I would agree (code available to many but can only be used once per person)

As this is for the book of the month it seems fair it is only available to the people who are entitled to it (code is one use only)

Except those of us with a Touch, bought during the time period, that still don't get the emails.

Doesn't seem to be any way to get added back, either (with a different email than account) and doesn't look like they have a similar program for any new people.
