It's not very helpful and discourages to help you when you
- write several new posts one after another - write to different threads I asked in the other thread a question, but you basically answered above: I guess the launcher window appears but does not show a "HackedUpReader" entry. So I guess you failed at the "Extracted in extensions folder" part. What exactly did you put where in that step? |

It seems you installed it wrong somehow.
Try this: Download https://github.com/downloads/bhaak/H...ader_0.1.1.zip and put hackedupreader_0.1.1_install.bin into /mnt/us/ (the same directory you get when you connect the Kindle using an USB cable). It's not the newest version but it will do for the time being. Then Menu -> Settings, then Menu -> Update Your Kindle Now your Kindle should install it and restart and afterwards you should have a "HackedUpReader" entry in your launcher menu. |

From the images you posted, it looks okay.
What happens if you ssh into your Kindle and type in: /mnt/us/cr3xcb/bin/cr3 |

You should have two directories in the extension directory, you can delete one, if you like. |

The goal of HackedUpReader is having an epub reader using the existing CoolReader code with a few changes to have a usable programm for the Touch. So a complete rewrite of the framework is not a viable task. Sorry. |

If you convert your Arabic epub books with KindlePreviewer you'll be able to read them on your Kindle. |
