Excuse me!!! That is not cheating!! I just commented on people's suggestions. And, said thank you. Not cheating ... being friendly and polite.

So there.

Do you use synergy by any change so you can control all your PCs with one mouse and keyboard?

BTW: I always wanted to be a lawyer but to late in life to pursue it now.

Thanks for the window into your cat filled life.

Let me get my desk at least a little bit cleaned off and I'll take a photo of it.

I am going to get synergy so that I can control the laptops from the main PC. I've been thinking about that for a while, and it really does seem like a good idea.

Also .... it is never too late to go to law school. There were people in their seventies in my law school class. I thought I was old (at 33 or so), but got the shock of my life when I saw how much older than I some of the students were. And, you know something?? The older students generally made much better grades and graduated higher in the overall class stats.

The only time it is too late to go back to school is when you are dead and buried.

Mine is sort of the poor man's version of that ... and doesn't look quite so good. Well, then again, not really .... I mean "poor man's version" ... I probably paid about $350 for each of my monitors .... so it was about the same cost .... but still, it doesn't look quite as good.

I only want one monitor. Multiple monitors...my head doesn't work that way. I'm your "Can't walk and chew gum at the same time" kind of mentality. Multiple sources of attention would trigger my distraction cascade, and before you know tHEYLOOKOVERTHEREIT'SAPARROTEATINGSOMEPINEAPPLE... .

Tee hee. I think slayda was being a little ironic. I took it that she was suggesting that your attention to individual courteous and grateful response was peerless, and to be admired, and so the "cheating" was said with a nudge and a wink.

Cheers,
Marc

Hah ... glad to hear it. Although, I did notice that, while most people will respond to a bunch of posters using the multiple quote option, I tend to reply to each individual post.

So, if I could manage to be a bit more organized, I could probably cut my postings by ohhhh .... 75 % or so.

Ah .... went to a great party tonight, Wonderful food, good wine and great company. Gonna read for a while and then go to bed.

What? You've been to Marc's upcoming party of last week already? Pushing in ahead on the line is downright rude, missy!

No, no, no. She's not referring to that Party. The clue is, she's almost immediately remembering parts of the one she's talking about (obviously hasn't gone through that whole undead cravings phase either), and that she specifically says "wonderful food" and "good wine" rather than "Why did I have to skewer the amuse bouche with a powered-up cattle prod?" and "WOW! Zany Carter Deluxes".

Cheers,
Marc

Correct, Marc. This was not that party, this was the party that my neighbors in the valley have every Tuesday night at the boat house (or pool house ... depending on your priorities). It's a regular part of my normal temporal existance, and in no way connected with any prior parties to be had in the future.

I apologise for any confusion this may have/might possibly/will almost certainly/ actually did create.
