[help] need a KT skin

Yesterday I got excited on opening the Touch, I was curious, that's all . That's why I ended making a scratch to the back cover. I'm thinking to give a skin to it. But I cant buy any skin online because I dont have paypal etc, and they're pretty expensive for me.

I found this but I dont have the software or the hardware. I just want to print it in pdf so I can make my own skin.

the skins on ebay are cheaper than the special vinyl you need to print on.

I saw skins for Kindle at Target the other day.

OK, I see that that is not going to help you in Indonesia.....

I am not sure you understand you need to purchase special vinyl to print on. This product costs more than an actual skin on ebay. You can not just print on paper. It will not work.

Well, vynil is good. But I just wanted the template so I can cut some sticky material (I dont really know their name is English :-D, something like scotchlite stickers or films) exactly the size and make it as protection against scratches.

A case for your Kindle is the best protection against scratches, as well as protecting against shocks and physical impact. I really would urge you to get a decent case.

I've just asked for the template for you at one of the custom skins makers. I'll put it up here once I get a reply.

The problem I have with cases, especially the Kindle ones, is that they're either too bulky, too expensive, or get dirty. I have two of them and I never use them, even though they're nice. Cases should be optional anyway.

Unless you use your Kindle exclusively at home, personally I regard a case as absolutely essential. But obviously it's a personal preference.

Yeah, see, I do use my Kindles at home for the most part. They don't get carried around much otherwise.

alaiksander, I got a reply from the company. They gave me a template, but it wasn't that great. I was able to edit it for you though so you could have the correct screen cutout. It's in your private messages. Hopefully that helps you.

HarryT, I keep it around my office almost everyday. I also had made a bag-like case for the KT to carry it around. Like Jessica Lares,I dont really like kindle case either.
