Actually you are right, about the steak tartare although the Canadian foodsafe course teaches that it is illegal. it s generally seared on the outside to kill e-coli and then chopped so it looks raw, but I am sure that not all restaurants do this. Still I am pretty darned sure about the Safeway not giving away raw meat samples to eat in- store.

Perhaps Giggleton will post an address of one that actually does

Do you seriously want to eat a sample of raw cow inside of the supermarket while you are shopping? It is a bit out there, the Safeway might have you sign a waiver or something before allowing you to rip open a package and tear into a cut.

You might want to start with this try before you buy method in the bakery section...

Not at all.

Library readership stats help them make the case for increased funding (or, more likely, during the great recession, against funding cuts). Also, when you have the book checked out, someone else is delayed in reading it, and, if impatient, may purchase it.

If everyone merely imagined they were using the library, and instead pirated, a significant portion of creators' current incomes would also become imaginary.

You are the one who said that Safeway encouraged this practice and gave out raw or undercooked meat sampless. I was just wanting some proof.

And the Safeways in Vancouver area do not to my knowledge give free samples of anything. many supermarkets do, but never in several thousand vists have I seen this at any Safeway.

If we assume a few thousand means $3000+ you can buy a books. 200-500 as a rough extimate. If you bought 100 books for approximately $1000 you could get another 200 books you want from the library and with a little planning manage to read everything in a legitamte manner. Plus you can also get paper books from the library in an emergency.

And you probably have a large stockpile of unread books already. Why not read them and also imagine you are reading all of the books you do not have yet.

If your imaging thing works as you seem to believe, just imagine you have already read everything and that it has changed you into a Godlike being who would know everything. Should work.

That includes any library in:

- Washington County, Oregon
- Clark County, Washington
- Klickitat County, Washington
- Skamania County, Washington
- Yale Precinct, Cowlitz County, Washington
- Cities of Ariel, Cougar or Woodland, Cowlitz County, Washington

Libraries in these areas belong to the Metropolitan Interlibrary Exchange and have a reciprocal borrowing agreement.

Most of these libraries belong to the Oregon Digital Library Consortium, a group of 31 library systems pooling their resources into one huge OverDrive lending library.

Of course one could simply steal whatever they want and imagine they're using the library.
