So let me get this right. We have:

Two people who own both a Kindle & a Sony reader who say they found managing collections on the Kindle easier than the Sony.

One person who doesn't own a Kindle and who seems only to post negatively about Kindles saying the Sony is very easy and the Kindle Touch not so.

Thanks JSWolf, I was under the impression the Sony was easy to manage collections on, now I know that it's probably easier on a Kindle.

I do not own a Kindle Touch, but I know someone who does and yes, collections are easier to deal with on a Sony Reader then a Kindle Touch. The reason they are easier on a Sony is that if you use Calibre to manage your content, then you can have Calibre manage the collections as you add/remove content. Otherwise, it's about the same to deal with collections on the devices themselves.

The best touch reader would be a combination of the Sony T1 and the Kindle Touch. I am eagerly awaiting the announcement for the next Kindle touch. A better display will be nice --I hope it will have a display more like the Iriver Story HD.

Current firmware for KT (5.1.0) contains code and resources written specifically for display with 210 DPI and resolution of 1024x758. I believe, these characteristics are of future Kindle model (which is now being tested as prototype).
