A glass of water followed by a glass of white wine in about an hour or so.

Pot two of Rooibos Plum Cinnamon (so looking forward to other flavors). The Doctor gave me clearence to drink some caffeine but I have still shied away from it unless I was strongly craving it.
I have been watching replays of the Jubilee celebrations in the UK. I love the pagentry and the pomp and circumstance. I love it when the Brits comment that the US went to all the trouble to boot the King and yet many of us are fascinated by the Monarchy. I fall into that crowd. I love the history, the pomp, the ceremony, and the fact that I can watch it and not worry about how it impacts anything in my country (winks). I was left wondering if Charles replaces the word "Queen" with "King" in his own head when "God Save the Queen" is sung. Poor guy might end up on the throne for about 5 years with the way his Mom is going. |

Om mani padme humOm mani padme hum Om mani padme hum Om mani padme hum Om mani padme hum Om mani padme hum Om mani padme hum Om mani padme hum Om mani padme hum ![]() ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iG_lN...eature=related ) Good morning, everyone. Namaste! (I'm feeling somewhat Hindi today. )I'm drinking a big mug of East India Company's "Assam" tea to keep the Indian idea, along with nan and some yellow curry. I even put on a sarong instead of my shorts! I think with all the changes upcoming in my life I need to center and relax myself a bit more with some intense meditation. There is a Zen temple in the middle of the bamboo forest in front of my house, but that's a bit too intense for me. I used to meditate regularly when I was in my twenties and thirties, but got away from it when I moved to Asia. Time to get it back. Nothing big, just a gazillion little things that by the end of the day make one say, 'gee, this sucks...' Quote:

Oh!!!! Rhododendrons !!! Haven't seen some for a while !!! I love them !!!! We had planted three small shrubs in our garden in Germany when we bought the house. They survived all those harsh winters and the snow and ice beautifully, last time I was there (Easter 2011) they were huge, and luckily because the weather was so good already in bloom.
Rhododendrons are I guess impossible to breed here, and roses are not easy either. But... bougainvillées and hibiscus thrive.....! And I get at least one fresh lemon every day from my trees. Next project : banana tree, or better said platano tree. But I still miss my Rhododendrons..... |

A rare morning at my own house, sipping a cup of coffee. I finished the book "On Little Wings " by Regina Sirois last night. Oh my, what a beautiful writing style that woman has. Loved it.
