Yes, sorry. I was just referring to the books available on the Kindle Store for Latin America users.

I think the reason why there's less ebooks-in-Spanish availability for Latin America Kindle users than for US or Spain Kindle users is because Libranda distributed books aren't available.
I think that there's more to this than just a georestricted-publishers issue, as Libranda does distribute to several small ebook stores from Latin America (but I think they all sell epubs).

However, the Kindle version of Gabo's book at Amazon USA, was pulled yesterday, no idea why. It is no longer available. Fortunately, I was able to download and buy.
Latin America users can't buy books from the amazon.es site.
I think they'll bring Cien años back, since it's available on iBooks and Barnes and Noble for the US.

Libranda also distributes books through Amazon, but for some reason only to US and Europe users.

You may be right.

I got the feeling initial price was wrong. I paid 6.99 dollars for it. They may increase that to 9.99 or maybe 14.99.

I got mine at 6.99 though ;-) ...

Latin music and music in Spanish is not the same thing. You can sing Yankee Doodle in Spanish, that doesn't make it Latin music.

Similarly, you can take Latin music, with Latin style and sound, but have the lyrics sung in English.

I know this is off topic :-) But let me clarify.

Is it Spanish your 1st language? I can tell you for sure, here in USA we do not use "Spanish" as a way to refer to people from Latin countries, we say Latin people, at least that's the case in TX. Which means, people from Honduras, Nicaragua, PR, Salvador, Colombia, etc, we refer to them as Latins, not Spanish.

Actually, we also use Hispanic, because I believe Hispanic and Latino are synonyms.

It is really common, even for american people (including my wife, born and raised in USA) to use Latin expression and word instead of Spanish.

Now, your analogy for Latin rhythms does not perfectly fit here. Because Latin People is usually refer to people from Latino America. But Latin Music can be Salsa, but with English Lyric.

I'm pretty sure we're saying the same thing.

We were just clarifying the difference between Latin (or Latino, or possible Hispanic) culture and peoples, and the Spanish language, and the Latin (from Rome) language.

Originally, Harry was just pointing out that what you wrote, in English, implied your first language was Latin. I'm pretty sure he actually knew what you meant.

As an American, I would call someone Spanish if and only if I knew they were from Spain.

And, BTW, I made no analogy.

I know it's off-topic too but... which is your point? I don't understand it, it's not a tease. The previous message said exactly that. And Spanish is my first language and I don't talk about Spanish people if they come from Peru, Colombia or Honduras.

The wording of their sign is not correct, or course, and that bugs me.
Kindle books are available from sources besides Amazon. Just not THOSE books.

If I'm reading their home page correctly, it looks like they are reselling Google ebooks. If that's so, they could easy (and probably SHOULD) be an Amazon affiliate reseller as well.

No, in Spain, Latin music is only music from Central or South America, never music from Spain.
