Happy 75th Golden Gate Bridge
The Golden Gate Bridge, connecting San Francisco and Marin County in California, opened 75 years ago. Here is a link with some nice photographs taken during construction:

If you could buy this at IKEA I wonder what the manual would look like

But 75 years, that's amazing. At first I thought they learned from old mistakes but it actually seems that the newer model was the mistake (they used elastic parts for this one... yeah)
