No more EDGE for me D:

Well this is like a goodbye, yesterday I was using my EDGE to chat on the messenger with a friend while i was listening some music, when i finished I went to have a bath and left my EDGE hibernating in my room, when i finished I opened it and the LCD screen was all white, I thought that android just crashed so turned It off with the On/Off button but it was the same, I could even hear the sound that makes android when I turn the device on, the Eink screen working properly as always, the las thing that I did was to push the reset button, but there was no luck.
I searched on the forums and I know that this is the White Screen Of Death, a hardware issue that can't be fixed, it's a shame because I really was enjoying this device and I had lots of troubles getting one, I don't think that I'll be able to get another, and even if I can I don't know if I'll do it, I don't want to save money again to end up with a white screen.

Well, I guess I am an unlucky person, thanks everyone for helping me with my EDGE while It was alive, even If I didn't post a lot I spent lots of hours searching on the forum's archive so I know you guys better than you know me, so again, thank you all.

Oh, this is so sad! But don't give up quite yet. Some people did recover from what they thought was the WSoD. I can't remember right now what they did, but I so hope you can recover yours!

First off, if it is the full size edge take out the battery for a short while. Then plug it back in and press the power button and let us know how you go.

If yours is the EE and it is a WSoD then this will be the first one we have heard of, as the video sub system appears to be more robust on the EE.

There has been a problem with the EE hibernating, or to be more precise, coming out of hibernation. Because of this I always switch mine off when I'm not using it.

If yours is the small PE, again don't give up hope just yet, as Filark said some people managed to recover from an apparent WSoD.

sorry for not being clear, I have a pocket EDGE, from what I've been looking, the WSOD that I have is the one that can't be cured, the screen is all white, but if i touch it works, i know cause i remember where the journal icon was, I touched the place and a new jornal appeared on the eink screen, also can hear the sounds of android when the system stars...

I thought some were able to recover from this by downgrading to the dingo release. I may be wrong, but worth a try.
