You can usually turn the text around 180 degrees as well. And 90 degrees if you want to hold it in landscape mode.

the text orientation can be changed to match the device orientation.

Is it because the round button pad is now at the top left? The next/prev page buttons seem to be in a good spot for either hand. If it makes you feel any better, the button pad is better situated for left-handers in landscape mode.

i know this much for sure, the ipad2 is the most uncomfortable tablet I've held on to and in bed at night during the winter, the thing freeze your hands and is hard to balance. the newest samsung galaxy 7" is the slickest I've seen yet and thats after having a kindle, nook, nook color, nook tablet, pan digital, ipad2, hmmmmm have i forgotten any? I've tried out way too many readers but love the one i have now.

i agree the buttons on most are sort of confusing. even the one i have now, the volume is in a rather remote location out of the way, maybe that's better because they are less likely to be touched? dunno

I've never tried to turn it by 180 degrees. The button pad has nothing to do in the top left, that simply feels wrong.

If it makes you feel any better, the button pad is better situated for left-handers in landscape mode.

You laugh about it but it really works remarkably better in landscape mode (and maybe not so good for right handers).

im right handed but prefer holding the 902 that way in landscape. leaves my right hand free for chips and drink
