Search YouTube for eink triton. It's pretty underwhelming.

Maybe they have something better now, but we haven't seen it demoed.

There's mirasol from Qualcomm, but it has been "coming" for 2,3 years now.

Look for the jetBook Color threads over here: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=205

Short version - a few people (mainly one actually) are bizarrely positive about it, a few people are wildly negative about it and the rest are lukewarm. Not a good advert for current colour eInk.

Color would be nice, but I really doubt it as being a major driving force for development, as most people read books on their eReaders.

I would like to see a bit faster refresh times, higher resolution and contrast.

My wife is one who would like to see colour, she loves cookery books and misses the colour photos of the completed dishes.

Thanks for this, I had never heard of the Jetbook before this, and I have checked out the thread and their website. Interesting! I would like to see one before making up my mind.
