Angry Cleaning the Kindle back panel
I use one of the cheapest cases for my Kindle Touch and unfortunately the back panel of it is very much affected by some black color spots from the case material. I didn't manage to clean a single spot no matter products I have used.
Have you experienced something like that? Are there any solutions to clean this mess up?

Perhaps try some regular white toothpaste? I've used it to get permanent ink stains off my table.

Another forum member here (Blossom, I believe) reported the very same problem. A third-party case (possibly M-Edge but cannot say for certain) left black marks which she was unsuccessful in removing.

I guess the only solution is applying a skin because it appears to be the only chance to get the back panel clean again.

Yep it was me and it's Marware cases that is doing this. I've since found a couple reviews at Amazon who has the same problem. I hate to say it but it's stained, nothing is going take it off.

Yes that was my original plan I have two back pieces already for it from Decalgirl but I've decided for $79 I'm not going to worry about it as the case I own is more important than the staining. I own a Eco-Flip case.

What case do you use? I am thinking of reporting this to Kindle Support so they can look into it. I'm not asking for a replacement but think they need to know some chemical reaction is happening with backs of the K4 and KT with some cases so it be good to know which ones so they can figure it out.

A cheaper solution is to place a sheet of paper between the back of the kindle and the case.

In fact I never use it without the case but I hope that is something I can do to clean it in order to keep a good value in case of a future sale.
