I happen to know that there are plenty of folks on the board who have been suspended or banned for their personal attacks on folks that came in topics that were anti-Apple, anti-Amazon, and a few others.

It is legitimate for people to love Apple and their products and it is legitimate for people to dislike Apple and their products. They tend to provoke strong emotions. Generally speaking, yelling at folks does little to change their opinion.

Then those folks can just stay away. They provide nothing. Just like I don't go into the eDGe threads & say what a crappy device it is or how stupid their users are for buying a crappy device. Change those to apple or IDevice & it's no different than a lot of the posts. Mer personally, not trying to change any opinions. But it's a sad state of the forums for new members who may coming looking for help & they have all of these anti-apple folks.

Oh. No, not at all. I'm not claiming any moral high ground by any means. I have been a little more confrontational than normal lately. You're right. I'm gonna calm it down. Just hard to ignore posts that are blatant bashes & have no basis in fact. Needless heckling though is no different than the amount of apple consumer heckling. I'm just one person, compared to many more who do it.

I wasn't off on my description of other products though, but of course that's my opinion & based on the forum guidelines I'm allowed to have it.

No, you don't go into the edge forum. You do it right here -- see comments above -- and you do it in the general Android forum.

Yup. The one comment about eDGe to make the point. The android forums I've only posted articles about the devices. I don't believe I've ever posted about the android consumer & making broad sweeping generalizations. Or making false statements about android devices.

You are welcome. While I can't argue about the quality of the Kindle Fire since I have never even seen one, it certainly isn't a knock-off.
