I used the velcro patches designed for use on the dashboard of a car to hold cell phones and ipods and such. I put the hooks on the folio and the soft loops on the Cybook.

I find that the adhesive never gets gooey on those.

A caveat, if you want to take it off, you have to use pure alcohol.

And it's only $5.99+2.99 shipping (less than $9). And it is my favorite travel brush and pencil holder too.

(this is one of the most reliable ebay sellers of art supplies I've ever used)
Did you used to be able to store the Cybook in the pencil case? Looks like it would slide out the side when it's closed up, or am I not seeing the whole picture?

By the way, here's a site selling it currently, temporarily on sale (it's no longer on eBay). I have not purchased anything from this site, so can't tell you much about it:

I got a shoe repairman to stitch some velcro (hook side) to the pencil case. Then I used the adhesive dashboard kind on the back of the cybook.

That case worked nicely, but it IS open on the sides.

It's still DB's workhorse case. He likes it because it can be an easel, which I liked too.

But for me, The Compact Circa Folio is best. I really like to zip it up and toss it in my bag.
