I do have the first one in that series. Thanks I will give it a go. So far the Unsung Hero is boring.

I think I might take a peak at suzane brockmann and laura griffin. I am not a teen and emo carry on just drives me nuts. I do not mind a good slaver of spice, I am no prude, even some romance, but I need a good suspense.thriller line running though the book. Something to sink my teeth into. I do not even mind a good horror or even a non dry sci fi. I enjoy interesting characters with lots of twists and turns not emo teens pretending to be adults.

thanks for the ideas

emo teens. That's a good description. If you are into paranormal romances I highly recommend Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed series. It has a perfect balance of action, suspense and romance. Her take on Vampires is very unique and refreshing. Although some have said it near J.R. Ward's Black Dagger series I tend to think it's unique enough to stand on it's own.

My thoughts, exactly.

Erotic fiction really is hot, so to speak.

If you're a mid-list writer of genre fiction it must make you wonder whether the scene with the scientists and the DNA analysis could be spiced up a little.
That's what I was thinking.

I understand she sells at about 2 books per second.

No Kids just cats here. My hubby can't act like that at me. He is just as bad with his TV shows. He watches TV and I with earplugs read on my Kindle or listen to an audiobook.

The Midnight breed series is more SciFi than Anne rice. If you like superheroes type stuff like X-Men, think Marvel with romance thrown in except you have Vampires. It really is great stuff though a little gritty at times which I love. Each book is about one of the male vampires finding his mate. So far Book 4 is my favorite and I'm on book 7 now.
