Ha! My grandson (who is home today with an upset stomach) just asked me if I knew what a Kraken was. He's studied quite a bit about mythology. I told his about this thread.

Sigh, it seems it will be Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman. Looks like I will be reading a YA novel even though the New York Times says I should be less ashamed to read pornography.

Which month is the Pornography one?
I unashamedly started listening to Neverwhere yesterday, Neil Gaiman is reading it and it's good fun so far. |

I wouldn't have placed Neverwhere as a YA novel myself. I thought it was rather adult.
It's a great book, but I don't particularly want to read it again. If I can remember all the details well enough I will still participate in the discussion. Meanwhile I'm off to play with my Kraken alone. ![]() All of you not voting Kraken - your names have been noted. *evil laugh* |

Actually - I found a limited edition book cover for Kraken the other day which was rather lovely. I loaded it up into my Calibre to replace the existing cover. Have a gander.
