Anyone else use Carbonite? I kind of like it. It's not free, but it allows me to access my files from my iPad no matter where I happen to be.

Yep, I use it. I use it as an offsite backup of all of my data on my main iMac.

The T1 is a a very reliable device. My mother has one and my mother-in-law has one and they both work very well. I suggest instead of having to convert your library over to a different format that you stick with ePub and get a T1.
